Begin Birding with Aldo
The Beginners Guide to Birding
Birding is so rewarding at so many levels. LifeLong Birding awaits you! I will show you how to develop and enjoy your identification skills rapidly and effectively. The course includes 70 of the most common birds. I will talk about equipment and resources, and you will learn about various modes and types of birding, including local birding in your own surroundings. This is a user-friendly and people-centred course and is not about learning masses of detail.
During the course, you will practice how to identify birds, including the use of field guides and how to memorise birds.
To book into the course, click the 28 July on the calendar (on the same page) which books you into all three sessions. You will receive an email with the link for all three sessions. After each session, you will receive a link to a recording which is available for 7-10 days, ideal for review or if you miss a session. You will receive pdfs of the course as reference material.
The cost for all 3 sessions is R300 for one person, and R400 for 2 or more. For pensioners the cost is R250 for one person and R350 for 2 or more.
