Wetlands with Aldo

This course continues on from Begin Birding with Aldo - a natural evolution of birding skills.

Wetlands are ideal habitats to develop your birding skills, because the open habitats and many larger birds facilitate birding. I will take you through 94 widespread waterbirds. I will use the protocols of GISS, Top, Bottom and Middle and other techniques to show you how to identify not only larger species, but difficult birds such as warblers and waders.

I use superb images of waterbirds, videos and sound to help you identify birds. I engage you with polls, annotation techniques, and chat room to enhance your memory recall. I provide time-restricted links to Zoom video recordings of each session to allow you to review. I provide permanent hard copy in the form of pdfs of the courses.

The Birding with Aldo online courses have very successfully passed the test of time. Not only is this course ideal for birders early in their careers, but there is considerable value for experienced birders.
